This is the only facility in the prefecture that houses Yayoi period materials and Haniwa (clay figurines) designated as Important Cultural Properties. Special exhibitions showcasing outstanding local ruins and artifacts are also popular. The center also offers a variety of seasonal ancient experience programs, such as Magatama (bead) making and fire-making.
