Kanazawa Yasue Gold Leaf Museum

Located in Kanazawa, which accounts for about 99% of Japan's gold leaf production, the Yasue Gold Leaf Museum was established in 1974 by gold leaf artisan Takaaki Yasue. The museum introduces the history of gold leaf production, the fascinating world of gold leaf at just 1/10,000mm thickness, and gorgeous arts and crafts using gold leaf, conveying the passion of Kanazawa's artisans and the charm of gold leaf.
