Opened in 2012, the Katayamazu Onsen Soyu is a glass-walled facility designed by Yoshio Taniguchi. Visitors can enjoy the "Kata no Yu" (Lagoon Bath) and "Mori no Yu" (Forest Bath), which offer views of the Hakusan mountain range and Lake Shibayama and alternate daily between men and women. This open and airy facility also features a cafe on the second floor and sells Onsen Tamago (hot spring eggs).
