Ohi Museum
Ohi Bijutsukan

Opened in 1990 in Hashiba-cho, Kanazawa, this museum focuses on Ohi ware and the tea ceremony culture of Kaga-Kanazawa spanning over 350 years, from the first Chozaemon—associated with Senso Soshitsu, the founder of Urasenke—to the present. The three exhibition rooms display representative works, including Ishikawa Prefectural Cultural Properties, featuring the characteristic amber glaze and designs favored by Senso.
