This museum was built by Kaga City in Katayamazu Onsen, the birthplace of Ukichiro Nakaya, the scientist who created the world's first artificial snow and is known for the quote, "Snow is a letter sent from heaven." Designed by Arata Isozaki, the museum showcases Ukichiro's multifaceted achievements in science, essays, film, and art. Visitors can also enjoy beautiful and mysterious experiments, such as diamond dust and ice pendants.
