Ishikawa Insect Museum
ishikawa ken fureai konchukan

The first full-scale insect museum on the Sea of Japan coast, utilizing the rich natural environment of Tsurugi. With numerous insects from around the world on display, visitors can observe the ecology of these fascinating creatures up close—a favorite activity for children. In the "Butterfly Garden," which remains a tropical paradise year-round, around 1,000 butterflies flutter about. The museum is filled with unique insects you may have never seen before, featuring corners like "Insects of Ishikawa" and "Insects of the World," as well as the "Mushi-mushi House" where live insects are exhibited.
