Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art

Permanent exhibitions featuring a collection of masterpieces. The museum displays numerous arts and crafts unique to Ishikawa Prefecture, ranging from ancient art to contemporary works. This includes Ko-Kutani ware, cultural assets handed down from the Maeda family of the Kaga domain, and paintings, sculptures, and crafts by artists associated with Ishikawa. The National Treasure "Pheasant Incense Burner" (*Iroe Kiji Koro*) by Nonomura Ninsei, a masterpiece known for its brilliant colors, is a must-see. Special exhibitions held occasionally are also very popular.
