Banshōen Aiueo-no-Mori Park
ばんしょうえん あいうえおのもり

A park utilizing the satoyama woodlands of “Banshōen,” adjacent to Yamashiro Onsen. Linked to the monk Myōkaku, originator of the Japanese syllabary, it blends culture and nature. The hub facility “Aiueo Gakusha” includes a free rest area café “Mori no Terrace,” a shop selling local products, and “Mori no Asobo,” an indoor wooden playground for rainy days. From the 360-meter aerial walkway, you may see a mystical “forest sea of clouds.” Cottages and an RV park are available for stays—Kaga’s new spot to “stay, play, and relax.”
